Wake me up when September ends

And we are down to the last quarter of the year. 4 more months to make it count. Have you made your year count? It isn't too late to finally start now if you haven't because it is better late than never.

Mah bestie
A big Hello from the authors of this blog :p
We had a mini trial during the weekend of Sava at Punggol Resevoir.. In order to let us rest fully for the day of the trial, we were given Friday evening off and Sunday off. Saturday afternoon was trials. It was a scorching hot day! I think everyone was slightly burnt.

We used to have water trials where all the lefties and the righties would be in their respective boats and the person doing her trial would be pulling everyone's weight plus the weight of the boat. Total weight of everyone on boat is 600+/-kg so just picture that!

Format for this trial was a little different from the ones we've done before. For this trial, we had just one person steering and the rower herself! AHHHHHH~~ bliss. It was just a pre-trial so I didn't go with high expectations hahaha in fact I woke up 30mins before meeting time and cabbed down. Ended up slightly late and got fined $5 from my dearest Vice-capt :( there goes a happy meal! D:

Trial results was a little unexpected I think. But everyone gave it their best shot and maybe some (including me) just got lucky. A little less than a month to the real trials. May the odds be in everyone's favor!

Oh and on a side note, anyone noticed that I can tie my hair up now? Heheheheh :p I have been waiting too long for this day. 14 months in fact!
