Let's Take A Little Trip Around Singapore Town (on our own two legs)

30km worth of mileage to clear for running. So what do two little (ok not that little I know...) girls do?
They:
1. meet in the gym
2. wear their shoes
3. put on their shades
4. stare longingly at the weights
5. flash a look of disgust at the treadmills
6. take the lift down and out of the air conditioned building and out under the blazing sun D: oh the horror.

Yea so that's us, in the gym and er. out under the hot sun D':

So we begin this little trip around the bay area. Been posting pictures of different kinds of exercises that we do but have never shown you guys that we actually DO run, as much as we dislike to. A given program is a program we have to clear we just gotta do what we gotta do~

The sight that greeted us.

Spotted 5 grown ups sitting in a row and having their lunch HAHAHA how cute! But why under the sun?

Looooooooooooong road ahead of us :C

So yes, there is me running LOL pictorial evidence! :p

Heheheh Jos handed the camera over to me from here on because I complained about her photo taking skillz. PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO SEE HERE? TREE(TRUNK)S OR BUILDINGS LOLOL hehehe still love you bbg <3

This is my artsy fartsy shot LOL lone lotus HAHAHAHA was bugging Jos to take picture of the lotuses at the Art Science Museum but she didn't want to so I got my chance when I took over the camera LOL

Errrr.... ya that's Jos.... *speechless* hehehe :p
By this time, we had only ran about 1km hahaha sure felt like it took forever to reach MBS lol tortoises, we are. Anyway, it's not often we get to run this route so we spent some time taking a little bit of pictures. Okay, I take that back. It's quite abit of pictures. What????? My choice of words still unacceptable? Fine, we took alot of pictures. Happy? You just had to force me to say that.

After MBS, we ran up the Helix Bridge. Usually when we row, we row under it and past it so it's new/different kind of feeling for us to be on top looking down instead.

And yes, that's Jos running. See, I told you we were running!
View from Helix across to CBD

Yupp, right at the end of the Helix Bridge is the Youth Olympics Park LOL just being a little touristy here.

Flyer at the background hahaha when we run to flyer from our bunk, it's about 6km LOL

Turning left and back to CBD, sight of hotels.

CNY is coming, so there is gonna be a fair at the Floating Platform area! Rides for the kids!

Running alongside the water, towards Esplanade.

Shuffling along too slowly so Jos came back to nag at me and of course, for another photo opp.

Colours by the Bay, food street in Esplanade I think

Sculptures at the end of the Esplanade. Almost back...
On the Esplanade bridge! (THE END IS NEARRRRRRRRRR) (not really)

Ice creammmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No $$, no ice cream ):

View from Fullerton area. Not too long ago, we were just opposite!

MBFC

CBD area.

We're back!!!!! :D

Jos said we looked too happy in the previous photo so must retake :/

Finally back in the gym! (what did I tell you about her photo taking skills?)
Cleared our medicine ball and did lots of stretching! Love doing med ball with Jos because we have this weird telepathy and we almost never ever drop the ball. We get in our rhythm fast and we keep it there. Okay, not sure how to explain it but you gotta experience it to know it!

After gym/med ball
Okay, this concludes the end of a very picture-filled post (to make up for the lack of pictures in the previous post lah okay?) Also, the whole run + gym session took about 1hr15mins HAHAHAHA typing this post took way longer than that! The run may seem long with that much pictures but it only lasted 25mins max. Okay gotta go, work is calling. And there's still training later :D I could get used to this whole seeing my teammates almost daily thing. Oh wait, I am already used to it that's why I was complaining when training halted HAHAHAHA. Toodles.

“Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up, it knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're the lion or a gazelle-when the sun comes up, you'd better be running.”
